Sorry for the delay on this post there was a GCSE deadline i had to reach but here it is. This beautifully aromatic thai style broth is an easy meal for such a flavour some dish.

Ingredients:

1 Stick of lemon grass (bruise)
1 Pak choi halved and washed
2 Chicken stock cube
1.5 Litres of Boiling water
Thumb sized piece of ginger
1 Large clove of garlic (peeled)
1 Medium chilli (sliced, leave seed in for hotter broth)
Salt and pepper (to season)
 
Equipment
 
Large pan
Chopping board
Large knife
Wooden spoon
 
Method
 
Place the boiling water into a large pan and set to a rolling boil. Crush the stock cubes
then add them to the boiling water. Season to taste .Add the lemon grass, pak choi, ginger and chilli to the stock and bring back to boil. Simmer for a further 15-20 minutes. Before serving remove the lemon grass and ginger.
